Rush Limbaugh Blamed The UCSB Shooter on ‘The Hunger Games’

"Dat oxy had me like"

In case you had forgotten already, Elliot Rodger, 22, killed 7 people and injured 13 more during a killing spree in the California college town of Isla Vista. Since then, seemingly educated people privileged enough to have a forum to reach millions of people, have decided to use their voice to blame Seth Rogen, men in general, and now Rush Limbaugh weighs in. Guess if his opinion is sane (Hint: No, no it's not. I bet you were't expecting that!)

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh said Tuesday that the left is politicizing the murders that occurred last week near the University of California Santa Barbara and questioned whether the suspect’s father’s work on “The Hunger Games” had any influence on what happened. On his radio show, Limbaugh discussed how the suspect’s father, Peter Rodger, was an assistant director on the first installment of “The Hunger Games” franchise. “Do you know what the ‘Hunger Games’ movies are about?” Limbaugh asked. He continued, “This is crucial! This is what this guy’s dad did. It’s teenagers killing other teenagers.” Limbaugh said despite the obvious tie-in, the movie industry will not face any scrutiny. “Why not blame Hollywood movies here? Oh, we can never, ever go there,” he said, sarcastically.

Like, is this seriously what we're doing right now? Is this the level of discourse that's hot in the street? Despite not being hipster enough to blame The Hunger Games instead of Battle Royale, I do agree with Rush Limbaugh that Hollywood loves killing themselves some white lady on film, but Hollywood hasn't directly killed anyone as far as I know. You know who did though? Elliot Rodger. You can blame whoever you want if that makes you feel better, but here's what we know: Since 1982, there have been 70 mass shootings in the United States, 33 of them after 2006. Out of the 143 guns, more than 75% were obtained legally (because everybody is a "law-abiding" citizen until, you know, they're not), 44 of the shooters were white males, and 40% of the killing sprees started after the shooter either targeted or killed a woman (usually a woman he knew). I'll let you process that however you want with amount of critical thinking you possess. Amd since Rodger used a knife and a car to kill some of his victims, we've already sank into the irrational mudhole of "SHOULD WE BAN KNIVES AND CARS TOO?!". No, dumbass. We shouldn't. Because unlike guns, knives and cars were designed with other purposes in mind. For instance, nobody is clamoring for the ban of the Nike Roshe Run I used to kill a fly yesterday, because shoes usually spend most of their time doing shoe stuff, and as it turns out, you can't walk into an elementary school and kill 22 kids with a shoe. We're all busy people and nobody has that kind of time. You can, however, do that pretty damn quick with a gun. Why? Because a gun is the most effective killing machine an individual can legally possess. So if you still want to shout your illogical argument, here's a quick test: walk up to a soldier and tell her you're taking her gun and giving her a butter knife and a 2005 Toyota Camry. Let me know what she says.

BREAKING: Rush Limbaugh Is Still Insane

In case you’ve ever wondered about the dangers of mixing prescription pills and a racist, Rush Limbaugh is now saying that Bane, the villain in The Dark Knight Rises, is a liberal conspiracy designed to hurt Mitt Romney in the upcoming Presidential election. Read that again. Yes. That happened. Media Matter reports:

RUSH LIMBAUGH: Have you heard, this new movie, the Batman movie — what is it, the Dark Knight Lights Up or something? Whatever the name of it is. That’s right, Dark Knight Rises, Lights Up, same thing. Do you know the name of the villain in this movie? Bane. The villain in the Dark Knight Rises is named Bane. B-A-N-E. What is the name of the venture capital firm that Romney ran, and around which there’s now this make-believe controversy? Bain. The movie has been in the works for a long time, the release date’s been known, summer 2012 for a long time. Do you think that it is accidental, that the name of the really vicious, fire-breathing, four-eyed, whatever-it-is villain in this movie is named Bane. Anyway, so this evil villain in the new Batman movie is named Bane. And there’s now discussion out there as to whether or not this was purposeful, and whether or not it will influence voters. It’s going to have a lot of people. This movie, the audience is going to be huge, lot of people are going to see the movie. And it’s a lot of brain-dead people, entertainment, the pop culture crowd. And they’re going to hear “Bane” in the movie, and they are going to associate Bain. And the thought is that when they start paying attention to the campaign later in the year, and Obama and the Democrats keep talking about Bain, not Bain Capital, but Bain, Romney and Bain, that these people will think back to the Batman movie –“Oh yeah, I know who that is.” There are some people who think it will work. There are some people think it will work. Others think — “You’re really underestimating the American people who think that will work.”

Mentioning facts like, I don’t know, Bane was created in 1993 and The Dark Knight Rises was written in 2008 would make it seem like I’m trying to defend the film and the Democratic Party from this fucking moron, so I’ll just say that it must be hard for Limbaugh to not be able to scream, “HE’S A NIGGER!! CAN’T YOU SEE THAT??!! OBAMA IS A SOCIALIST NIGGER WITH TEN WIVES WHO WANTS TO RAPE AMERICA WITH HIS NIGGER KENYA DICK!!”, on every show. Because you know he wants to. But, of course people will believe this, because people who listen to Rush also believe in God. So I guess a comic book villain created for the sole purpose of damaging a political campaign 20 years in the future wouldn’t be that much of a stretch.

Rush Limbaugh Defended Joseph Kony

Since you know who Joseph Kony is because all of your Facebook friends posted a link to the same self-serving video, Invisible Children, last week with the same moral outcry that was completely forgotten about the next day, what you might not have known is that Joseph Kony rapes and kidnaps children then kills their family and neighbors because he literally thinks he is God’s spokesman and has the right to turn Uganda into a theocratic state based on the Ten Commandments without regard to human rights (think Rick Santorum only way blacker). It’s hard to imagine a group who calls themselves Lord’s Resistance Army would commit horrible atrocities then justify their actions with religion (oh hai, Israel), but in 2011, President Obama sent troops to get rid of this lunatic. But apparently that was bad, because Joseph Kony is a good Christian and Barack Obama IS A MUSLIM FROM KENYA AND AN ARAB WITH MANY WIVES HE WASN’T EVEN BORN HERE SOCIALIST AFRICAN!! Huffington Post reports:

Lord’s Resistance Army are Christians. It means God. I was only kidding. Lord’s Resistance Army are Christians. They are fighting the Muslims in Sudan. And Obama has sent troops, United States troops to remove them from the battlefield, which means kill them. That’s what the lingo means, “to help regional forces remove from the battlefield,” meaning capture or kill. So that’s a new war, a hundred troops to wipe out Christians in Sudan, Uganda, and — (interruption) no, I’m not kidding. Jacob Tapper just reported it. Now, are we gonna help the Egyptians wipe out the Christians? Wouldn’t you say that we are? I mean the Coptic Christians are being wiped out, but it wasn’t just Obama that supported that. The conservative intelligentsia thought it was an outbreak of democracy. Now they’ve done a 180 on that, but they forgot that they supported it in the first place. Now they’re criticizing it. Lord’s Resistance Army objectives. I have them here. “To remove dictatorship and stop the oppression of our people.” Now, again Lord’s Resistance Army is who Obama sent troops to help nations wipe out. The objectives of the Lord’s Resistance Army, what they’re trying to accomplish with their military action in these countries is the following: “To remove dictatorship and stop the oppression of our people; to fight for the immediate restoration of the competitive multiparty democracy in Uganda; to see an end to gross violation of human rights and dignity of Ugandans; to ensure the restoration of peace and security in Uganda, to ensure unity, sovereignty, and economic prosperity beneficial to all Ugandans, and to bring to an end the repressive policy of deliberate marginalization of groups of people who may not agree with the LRA ideology.” Those are the objectives of the group that we are fighting, or who are being fought and we are joining in the effort to remove them from the battlefield.

So basically, anything that Obama and his administration does is wrong. Everything. Because if blind hate and misinformation won’t work, semantics will have to do. It really does take a special kind of asshole to defend a child murderer for the sake of spiting the person trying to keep him from, you know, child murdering. Even if the child murdering is God’s will, which kinda undermines the whole sanctity of life argument. As does the Passover and the story of Noah. Or the story of Lot’s daughters. Or pretty much everything else in the bible. Man, no wonder Kony got the wrong idea. Easy mistake I guess.

Just FYI:

Rush Limbaugh “Apologizes” To Sandra Fluke

At a Congressional hearing about the Obama administration’s contraception policy, Sandra Fluke, a law student at Georgetown, was denied the opportunity to speak by committee chair, Darrell Issa. Only men were allowed to speak, because if men know anything better than women, it’s the female reproductive system and the countless medical reasons why women choose to take birth control. Oh wait, I meant if women take birth control they must be whores. Why should I pay for you to have sex?! I’d rather pay for you to be on welfare when you can’t afford the baby I forced you to have. Then your poor, underprivileged kid will have no choice but to join the military because who is else is dumb enough to join? DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND ANYTHING YOU STUPID FUCKING WHORE GAWD?! Take it away, Rush Limbaugh. Washington Post reports:

Can you imagine if you were her parents how proud…you would be? Your daughter … testifies she’s having so much sex she can’t afford her own birth control pills and she wants President Obama to provide them, or the Pope…So Miss Fluke and the rest of you feminazis, here’s the deal. If we are going to pay for your contraceptives and thus pay for you to have sex, we want something. We want you to post the videos online so we can all watch….What does it say about the college co-ed Sandra Fluke, who goes before a congressional committee and essentially says that she must be paid to have sex, what does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute.

Almost immediately, Limbaugh’s sponsors dropped him like a newborn baby in a dumpster. And since that meant he was losing money, he apologized (who’s the prostitute now, Rush?), but only in the way you’d expect Limbaugh to apologize. (via Radar Online):

“For over 20 years, I have illustrated the absurd with absurdity, three hours a day, five days a week. In this instance, I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation. I did not mean a personal attack on Ms. Fluke. “I think it is absolutely absurd that during these very serious political times, we are discussing personal sexual recreational activities before members of Congress. I personally do not agree that American citizens should pay for these social activities. What happened to personal responsibility and accountability? Where do we draw the line? If this is accepted as the norm, what will follow? Will we be debating if taxpayers should pay for new sneakers for all students that are interested in running to keep fit? In my monologue, I posited that it is not our business whatsoever to know what is going on in anyone’s bedroom nor do I think it is a topic that should reach a Presidential level. “My choice of words was not the best, and in the attempt to be humorous, I created a national stir. I sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke for the insulting word choices.”

Are we fucking kidding right now? Why don’t we just make women illegal and get it over with? Would that help? Just give women no say in anything and let’s stick our dicks in them without a condom or let them develop functional ovarian cysts or bleed out from menorrhagia every month because they obviously want to take birth control so they can be huge whores. Fuck them. They’re just women. What do they know? They probably go to women OB/GYNs where they can gossip and compare how many dicks they’ve had this week, too. It’s all just one big conspiracy by women to overthrow the government with their slutty vaginas and ovaries. WAKE UP, AMERICA!

Note: Somebody should tell Rush Limbaugh that birth control is really OxyContin. He’d probably be on board then.

Note II: Fuck Rush Limbaugh and fuck anybody who agrees with him. Thanks! Have a good day!

: Most of what The Superficial and I discuss on Gchat is boobs and things that lead to discussions about boobs and sometimes Star Wars. And what if there were more boobs in Star Wars. But sometimes we talk politics. And how we could have retired a long time ago if we had a dollar every time we heard “stick to tits, I don’t come to this site that is of no cost to me to read opinions that don’t reflect my own”. So he just sent me this link to Rush Limbaugh stating that his apology was “heartfelt” then, you know, blaming the media and accepting no responsibility whatsoever.

“I don’t expect, and I know you don’t either,” he told listeners, “morality, intellectual honesty from the left. They’ve demonstrated, over and over, a willingness to say or do anything to advance their agenda; it’s what they do. It’s what we fight against here every day. But this is the mistake I made: in fighting them on this issue last week, I became like them.” “That was my error,” he reiterated. “I became like them.”
