Donald Sterling’s Side Chick Doesn’t Really Like Black People Either
Donald Sterling’s Side Chick Doesn’t Really Like Black People Either

V. Stiviano, Donald Sterling's girlfriend who secretly recorded him at his John Wilkes Booth Appreciation Party, actually agreed to be recorded  back in 2011 for a reality show pilot where she went on a rant about black people. When you're thinking about dating someone, it's best to pick a person with mutual interests like being recorded when asked about black people.

— "I don't understand black people. You give them a little bit of money, they don't know what to do with it." — "[Black people] just act crazy … they're like, 'Yo, I wanna put extra rims on top of my rims. And my rims are gonna turn around. I'm gonna call them spinners.'" The footage was shot back in 2011 as part of a reality show pilot about gold diggers — V. Stiviano was one of the girls selected to appear … and in the clip, she rambles on and on about finding a mega-rich guy to settle down with.

Stiviano's lawyer's brain couldn't process seeing this on TMZ, so it broke and issued a statement saying that Stiviano was attacked on the street in NYC by a bunch of dudes yelling racial slurs (Stiviano is half black/half mexican)  even though the police never received a call and no report was ever filed. I heard he told TMZ while waving his hands over a top hat before throwing down a dice bomb on the ground and running away. But he didn't really need to, because I guess all this comes down to is if whatever innner monlogueyou've seared into your brain about this whole thing will either make you see this as a person screaming racist sterotypes, or a person shouting at the people who reinforce those racist stereotypes that make half of her look bad. Either or works. But she could have easily said that the Catholic Church mandates pedophilia to distract everyone from the fact that Mexicans are basically their Clone Army who will eventually competitive breed us into assimiliation. Would that have been any worse that what she says here? Maybe, who knows. The point is, can you really be racist against yourself? I don't…wait, hold on…getting confirmation…yes, getting confirmation now that Hitler has answered yes.

Ex-Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer Bought The Clippers For $2B
Ex-Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer Bought The Clippers For $2B

"Now hear me out on this…'The Los Angeles Cliparts'''

Yay! Billionaire white dudes ftw.

Steve Ballmer won the bidding war to buy the Clippers for $2 billion, although other NBA owners and possibly Donald Sterling must still approve any sale. But Ballmer clearly has the money to buy the team — he amassed his fortune as a longtime executive of software giant Microsoft Corp. Forbes estimates Ballmer's net worth totals $20 billion, mainly because of the Microsoft stock he owns, ranking him 35th among the world's billionaires This isn't the first time Ballmer has pursued an NBA franchise.

Steve Ballmer has tried twice before to buy an NBA franchise, one time he tried to buy the Milawukee Bucks, so it's pretty clear that he really, really wants to own an NBA team, and it doesn't particulary matter which one. The $2B he paid for the Los Angeles Clippers is almost FOUR TIMES more that the previous record NBA purchase price. I could sit here and say that's a bad business decision, but I pretty much do the same thing at Starbucks everyday,

Mark Cuban Condemned Racism, People Called Him A Racist
Mark Cuban Condemned Racism, People Called Him A Racist

With NBA owners excpected to vote 29-0 to oust racist Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban sat down for an interview with Inc. Magazine at the GrowCo convention on Wednesday in Nashville, and in typical Mark Cuban fashion, he spoke candidly about the topic of racism and bigotry where is freely admitted to having his own prejudices. The Internet doesn't really like when people speak their truth.

In this day and age, this country has really come a long way putting any type of bigotry behind us, regardless of who it’s toward. We’ve come a long way, and with that progress comes a price. We’re a lot more vigilant and we’re a lot less tolerant of different views, and it’s not necessarily easy for everybody to adapt or evolve. We’re all prejudiced in one way or the other. If I see a black kid in a hoodie and it’s late at night, I’m walking to the other side of the street. And if on that side of the street, there’s a guy that has tattoos all over his face — white guy, bald head, tattoos everywhere — I’m walking back to the other side of the street. And the list goes on of stereotypes that we all live up to and are fearful of. In my businesses, I try not to be hypocritical,” he said. “I know that I’m not perfect. I know that I live in a glass house, and it’s not appropriate for me to throw stones. When I run into bigotry in organizations I control, I try to find solutions. I’ll work with people, send them to sensitivity training, I’ll try to give them a chance to improve themselves. … [I]t’s part of my responsibility as an entrepreneur to try to solve it, not just to kick the problem down the road. Because it does my company no good, it does my customers no good, it does society no good if my response to somebody and their racism or bigotry is to say, ‘It’s not right for you to be here, go take your attitude somewhere else.’”

Chill. Seriously, everybody chill the fuck out. Instead of focusing on the "black kid in a hoodie" comment and losing your shit over it, how about taking in the whole context of the interview. Granted, that imagery is still fresh because of the senseless death of Trayvon Martin, but please keep in mind that he was killed because of stereotypes. Stereotypes we all have. If you're reading this and say you don't stereotype, you're full of shit. Sorry. Stereotypes and sweeping generalizations are real and aren't going away. For instance, if I see a guy wearing a polo shirt and boat shoes, I assume he's a date rapist. If I go to a diner and I see an elderly black woman in the kitchen, I assume the food is gonna be fucking amazing. I don't even think about it. I grew up in a black neighborhood and nobody ever bothered me. My best friend wears a camo hat and blares country music, but he would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. What you wear doesn't define you as a person, unless you're in an actual uniform. Which is why when Jalen Rose tweeted this, I was the one who was confused, because this is same Jalen Rose who called Grant Hill an "Uncle Tom" for the simple fact that he went to Duke and had wealthy parents. His views have since changed, because he's not a bigot, he was just misguided. And that's the entire point Cuban was attempting to make. Why be hypocritical? Why ostracize when you can change a mind? Because there's a big fucking difference between being just plain ignorant from living a sheltered life and being a raging bigot. Anybody who possesses any amount of critical thinking can differentiate between the two. And as much as I take every word that comes out of Bomani Jones' mouth as gospel, his point here is flawed. You don't think people use their fear to justify their biases? Tell that to a rape victim who sees a man when she's alone in an empty parking garage at night. Or you when you see a Middle Eastern man board your plane. Stereotyping out of healthy fear is intrinsic, but if you find yourself wanting to wipe your fears off the face of the Earth instead of being self-aware enough to understand that the problem is with you, and not the personification of your fear that you see walking down the street, then you're beyond help and should be cleaved from the herd because you're a mustache away from being Hitler. And to those believing Cuban's comments will help Donald Sterling's case, wrong again. Cuban's comments have nothing to do with Donald Sterling, and any attempt to find a connection between the two will be seen as a desperate attempt to garner sympathy for man who deserves none. In conclusion, if you're unable to understand what Cuban is saying here, then recognize that you're part of the problem and probably always will be. Also, I just realized this post doesn't contain the word "boobs", so let me go ahead slip that in here. Happy Friday.

The Donald Sterling Interview Was Worse Than You Could Possibly Imagine
The Donald Sterling Interview Was Worse Than You Could Possibly Imagine

The full Donald Sterling interview with Anderson Cooper aired in its entirety last night, and holy hell, people. I'm a white girl right now. I can't even.

Sterling, 80, slammed the former Los Angeles Lakers player’s character and his battle with HIV, saying Johnson hasn’t done anything to help others. “What kind of a guy goes to every city, has sex with every girl, then he catches HIV? Is that someone we want to respect and tell our kids about?” Sterling asked. “I think he should be ashamed of himself. I think he should go into the background. But what does he do for the black people? He doesn’t do anything.” …What has he done? Can you tell me? Big Magic Johnson, what has he done?” Sterling said. Sterling, who is Jewish, said Jewish people spend great amounts of money helping other Jews who are poor while rich black people turn their backs to people in need. “That’s one problem I have. Jews, when they get successful, they will help their people, and some of the African-Americans — maybe I’ll get in trouble again — they don’t want to help anybody,” he said. Cooper asked, “So are you saying that African-Americans don’t contribute to African-American communities as much as Jewish people —“ Sterling — measured for much of the interview — cut Cooper off and snapped back. “There’s no African-American –,” he said, raising his voice. “Never mind, I don’t know, I’m sorry. You know, they all want to play golf with me. Everybody wants to be with me. I’m easy. I’m fun.”

Whether it be AJ McCarron, a Nevada farmer who takes government handouts then opines for slavery, or an out of touch racist, billionaire, if you give a narcissist enough rope, they'll eventually hang themselves. Sterling's side piece wasn't present during this interview, so I'm not sure what evil entity tricked him into saying this dumb shit, but damn. Just damn. Does cancer medicine make you delusional and become completely obsessed with Magic Johnson? If not catching HIV is the only measure of success in justfying having a shit ton of mistresses, then you're setting the bar real low. Not only is Sterling a shitty owner, he's a horrible human being. Like, Katherine Heigl just started posting his quotes on her Facebook with the caption "So true".

Donald Sterling Is Really Sorry, You Guys
Donald Sterling Is Really Sorry, You Guys

Donald Sterling has been banned for life by the NBA and the owners will soon vote to force the sale of his team, but he has a very good excuse for making racist statements, you guys: BITCH SET ME UP!

"When I listen to that tape, I don't even know how I can say words like that. … I don't know why the girl had me say those things," he told CNN's Anderson Cooper in an exclusive interview set to air on Monday. "You're saying you were set up?" Cooper asked. "Well yes, I was baited," Sterling said. "I mean, that's not the way I talk. I don't talk about people for one thing, ever. I talk about ideas and other things. I don't talk about people."... "I'm not a racist," Sterling told Cooper. "I made a terrible, terrible mistake. And I'm here with you today to apologize and to ask for forgiveness for all the people that I've hurt." Asked by Cooper why he took so long to say he's sorry, Sterling said he was "emotionally distraught." "The reason it's hard for me, very hard for me, is that I'm wrong. I caused the problem. I don't know how to correct it," he said. Sterling said he doesn't want his comments to eclipse his lengthy tenure with the NBA. "I'm a good member who made a mistake and I'm apologizing and I'm asking for forgiveness," he said. "Am I entitled to one mistake, am I after 35 years? I mean, I love my league, I love my partners. Am I entitled to one mistake? It's a terrible mistake, and I'll never do it again." Now, Sterling said, his fate is in the league's hands. "If the owners feel I have another chance, then they'll give it to me," he said.

I'm sorry that Sterling is battling cancer and can't control his side piece, but I don't know what reality he's living in, because nobody can "bait" you into making racist statements. If they can, you're kinda dumb.  Last time I checked, this chick wasn't a sorceress, so let's try not to push somebody under a bus whose only crime was to point an electronical device towards you and hit record. Sterling, much like the ignorant bigots who felt "uncomfortable" seeing Michael Sam celebrate one of the greatest moments of his life with the person he loves, is just a dying relic trying hold onto anything and everything he can to keep the world from passing him by. And let's call this bullshit for what it is, Sterling isn't sorry for saying what he said, Sterling is sorry he got caught. Every word that comes out of his mouth in every interview from now on will be hollow and suspect, because he's not looking to repair the racial tensions he created, he's just trying to keep his place in line at the capitalist gangbang. Glad we had this talk. How's your Monday going? Good, good.

Donald Sterling Has Cancer
Donald Sterling Has Cancer

Our thoughts and prayers are with cancer during this difficult time as it battles Donald Sterling.

Sterling is battling cancer — surprising those around him by beating the final buzzer for as long as he has, sources told The Post on Thursday. “They thought he would die two years ago,” one source said of Sterling, who on Tuesday was banned for life from the NBA for his now-infamous recorded racist rant. “People have been predicting his imminent demise. I’m sure he has the best . . . drugs money can buy,” said the source, who works closely with pro sports teams. “He can do anything to keep himself alive.” The source said some of the medication Sterling has been taking is responsible for the puffy appearance of his face. Another source said Sterling, 80, was specifically suffering from prostate cancer. In an ironic twist, Sterling refused to pay for prostate-cancer surgery a decade ago for then-Clippers assistant coach Kim Hughes. “I contacted the Clippers about medical coverage and they said the surgery wouldn’t be covered,” Hughes told The Journal Times of Racine, Wis., in 2011. “They said if they did it for one person, they’d have to do it for everybody else.” Four Clippers players chipped in to cover the $70,000 cost.

Oh, so he has a literal cancer as well. I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone, but maybe God needs another angel in heaven. Have you ever thought about that? A three-year old whose father has a financial interest in making people believe heaven is real says Jesus has a rainbow colored horse. That's pretty cool. Although Sterling might not want to ride it because it's colored.

Donald Sterling Says He Won’t Sell The Los Angeles Clippers
Donald Sterling Says He Won’t Sell The Los Angeles Clippers

"This could be us but you playin"

Yesterday, NBA Comissioner Adam Silver banned Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling for life from the NBA, imposed the maximum fine allowable under the NBA Constitution, and urged the other NBA owners to vote to force Sterling to sell his team. Almost immediately, Sterling went to the last place where rich, old, racist white dudes can publicly let their voices be heard: FOX News.

A defiant Donald Sterling just said he would NOT sell the Los Angeles Clippers. Sterling told Fox News' Jim Gray the team was NOT for sale. Gray said on Fox News he spoke with Sterling just before NBA Commish Adam Silver banned Sterling for life. Silver said in his news conference … if 3/4 of the NBA owners get on board they can force Sterling to sell the team.  If that happens it looks like Sterling may well go to legal war.

After the press conference, I made the mistake of getting on Facebook, and of course all I read was "OMG 1ST AMENDMENT!" and "HE CAN'T BE FORCED TO SELL HIS PRIVATE PROPERTY!" (Allen West is even quoting John Locke. Bro. Seriously.) Ironically, conservatives and people who have never experienced institutional racism love to scream that their rights are violated, but allow me to explain why these people are idiots. Quiz: Is Donald Sterling in prison for his comments? No? Then maybe you should look up what the 1st Amendment means. Yes, Donald Sterling has every right to say whatever ignorant, racist shit he wants to say in the privacy of his own home. Granted, he didn't know he was being recorded, but that has no bearing on this situation at all, because guess what? His punishment isn't being handed down by a court of law. It's being handed down by a private entity known as the NBA. Yes, Donald Sterling owns the Los Angeles Clippers. The team is his property, but guess what? He only owns the team, because the NBA Board of Governors voted to allow that to happen. Try to stay with me here, but guess what else they can vote on to make happen? This is business. If Donald Sterling is going to damage the NBA's bottom line, his old ass has to go. So to all of you who are still looking at this as a businessman being persecuted, let's say you owned a Chick-Fil-A and you were recorded having a Satanic gay orgy in the back. Although you purchased that franchise and you are the rightful owner, the sign out front is way bigger than you are. So take a guess how long you'll be able to say you own a Chick-Fil-A (HINT: Not long)? Donald Sterling doesn't have an inherent right protected by our Constitution to own an NBA franchise, even though rich, old white men think it was written specifically for them. Donald Sterling got set up by his sidechick, and now he's paying the price because he couldn't keep his damn mouth shut. Which, of course, is protected by the 1st Amendment. See how that works?

ADAM SILVER IS THE ONE WHO KNOCKS
ADAM SILVER IS THE ONE WHO KNOCKS

Despite Donald Sterling being his boss for all intents and purposes, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver just LAID DOWN THE FUCKING HAMMER on Sterling during his press conference that was aired live on Sportscenter a few minutes ago. In case you missed it, Donald Sterling has been banned for life from the NBA, was fined $2.5M (the maximum the NBA consitution can levy), and is urging the NBA Board of Governors and the other owners to force the sale of the L.A. Clippers to another ownership group (this decision is now up to the other owners). Sterling will still be a racist and a billionaire, but Silver just stripped away the narcissist's identity by removing him from his figurative home and family and forcing the sale of the one thing that he holds most dear. Maybe Sterling will associate with a black person so he can learn a spiritual.

This Is My Donald Sterling Post
This Is My Donald Sterling Post

By now, you've probably heard or read the story TMZ broke on Friday about Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling being caught on tape with his then-girlfriend, V. Stiviano, finally allowing the whole world to see him as the horrific bigot and sexist that he's been for years. In an ironic plot twist, I'm writing about a Jewish billionaire who feels that minorities are less than human a day after Holocaust Remembrance Day. I'm not going to try to calculate the level of cognitive dissonance it must take to demand that your half-black girlfriend not associate with black people. I'm not going to try to understand the plantation mentality delusion that makes you think its unseemly and disgusting for your girlfriend to take a picture with a man who has a statue in front of your fucking arena. I'm not going to try to understand the societal pressure and strain on the conscience of wealthy black men in a position of power to have to constantly address this bullshit even if it harms them financially (btw kudos to Michael Jordan who has historically remained silent). I'm not going to try to understand the fear and paranoia that a poor black man carries when he leaves his house. I'm not going to tell my white male friends who try to lecture me about racism that they might as well lecture a woman on how to give birth because their views and opinions come from the abstract. I'm not going to get into the fact that my last name is of British origin (hint: I'm not from England). I'm not going to rant about how mother, my own fucking mother, wasn't allowed in certain restaurants or schools or to drink from certain water fountains as a child. I'm not going to go on a rant about racism and bigotry in America because it would only give weight and credence to this ignorant dickhead's words and actions. Instead, I'm going to leave you with the words of Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers' son, Jeremiah Rivers. My hope, is that Doc Rivers retires, he seriously contemplates teaching parenting classes. The world needs it.

People want to because of one man? My house has been burned to the ground, animals tortured and burned as well. Along with anything we ever loved, and held treasured, because of the color of my dads skin. We lost everything and had to start over. Did we hate the collective of people, culture, and race who's skin was responsible for our hardship? No. One man, cannot have the power to make me feel hate towards a group, race, or another persons skin color. Nor would I allow them to have the power over me to not support the players and coaches that have done nothing wrong. Hate the man all you want, show him no mercy if you must. But the players who put on that Jersey do it because the love basketball. They want to win for the city of LA, for there families, friends, fans and themselves. Racism isn't born, it's taught. It is the refuge of ignorance and seeks to divide and destroy. The clippers need the people, fans, and city of LA more then ever. The team deserves it.
