Here’s Jesse Eisenberg As Lex Luthor
Here’s Jesse Eisenberg As Lex Luthor

EW just dropped the first image of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor in Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and as you can see Lex Luthor is still bald. Gonna be weird in that one scene where he nervously asks a girl out on a date or has to explain to his mother why he didn’t go to law school.

So, Yeah. The Joker Is Probably In ‘Batman Vs. Superman’

Larry Fong, the cimenatographer for Batman Vs. Superman, posted this photo of a card stuck in concrete, leading many to speculate that The Joker (it better be Vincent Cassel) will make an appearance in the movie. Also, Ben Affleck's Batman suit is actually blue and grey and an exact replica of the suit in Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns. What does this all mean? I'm not sure. I got laid pretty recently.

Here’s Your First Look Of Ben Affleck As Batman
Here’s Your First Look Of Ben Affleck As Batman

My stepsister site, SuperHeroHype, has the first image of Ben Affleck as Batman in Zack Snyder's Batman vs. Superman, and I sent this over to Jess and she replied, "I'M NOT AGAINST IT", so I guess that means she likes it. But she also likes Bright Eyes, so I don't want to give her opinion too much weight here.

Here’s The New Batmobile
Here’s The New Batmobile

Exploding houses, Donald Sterling saying "the HIV", and Solange having her first hit in a while, lots of stuff went down yesterday. Lost in all that is Zack Snyder tweeted a picture of the Batman vs. Superman's Batmobile. Well, techinically he just tweeted the tires. And a tarp. Okay maybe this was boring. Sorry.

Michael Cera Is The Riddler
Michael Cera Is The Riddler

Ben Affleck as Batman. Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. Michael Cera as The Riddler. Todd as Person Not Going To See This. JoBlo reports:

After the news that Warner Bros would be making announcements soon regarding their DC Cinematic Universe comes the news that BATMAN VS SUPERMAN will not only have a foe for the Henry Cavill's Man of Steel but one for Ben Affleck's Dark Knight as well. Deadline is reporting that Michael Cera has been cast as The Riddler in Zack Snyder's superhero movie, putting him alongside Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor as the second bad guy in the film. This will mark the second big screen incarnation of The Riddler since Jim Carrey played the part in Joel Schumacher's BATMAN FOREVER. Wow. Following the same outside the box casting of Eisenberg, Cera will bring a less imposing presence as the man once known as Edward Nigma. Many may be considering this another nail in the coffin for the MAN OF STEEL sequel, but the selection of Cera could provide a much more grounded and realistic villain for the franchise.

If you're keeping score at home, the two villains in Batman Vs. Superman are two frail, awkward white dudes. What's their plan? To stand outside Starbucks and ask Bruce Wayne to join Greenpeace? Don't do it, Bruce. They send like five emails a day. It's pretty annoying.

Jesse Eisenberg Is Lex Luthor. Jesse Eisenberg.
Jesse Eisenberg Is Lex Luthor. Jesse Eisenberg.

Jesse Eisenberg is Lex Luthor. If I type it enough maybe it will set in that Jesse Eisenberg is Lex Luthor. Nope, not helping. Deadline reports:

Two more key roles have been cast in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Superman-Batman movie for Warner Bros. Jesse Eisenberg will play Superman’s arch enemy Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons will play Bruce Wayne’s butler/mentor Alfred in the pic, which is set for a May 6, 2016 release….“Lex Luthor is often considered the most notorious of Superman’s rivals, his unsavory reputation preceding him since 1940,” Snyder said in Warner Bros’ announcement of the castings today. “What’s great about Lex is that he exists beyond the confines of the stereotypical nefarious villain. He’s a complicated and sophisticated character whose intellect, wealth and prominence position him as one of the few mortals able to challenge the incredible might of Superman. Having Jesse in the role allows us to explore that interesting dynamic, and also take the character in some new and unexpected directions.”

Read that higlighted part again. Now realize they cast Jesse Eisenberg as fucking LEX LUTHOR. What new and unexpected directions do they plan on taking this? Lex Luthor is a Vine celebrity who needs an inhaler and Xanax to get on a plane? He watches Portlandia on his iPad? He gives Superman some Purell before they fight? Screw you, Snyder.

Khal Drogo Is Gonna Be Either Doomsday Or Aquaman In ‘Batman vs. Superman’
Khal Drogo Is Gonna Be Either Doomsday Or Aquaman In ‘Batman vs. Superman’

Khal Drogo is one of the 34,786,345 characters in Game of Thrones, and since he one of the 32,956,678 characters who died on the show, the actor who plays him (Jason Momoa) has been cast in Batman vs. Superman as one of four characters. Characters. Sorry, just wanted to types that word again. Page Six reports:

Jason Momoa, a k a Khal Drogo on “Game of Thrones,” is reportedly joining Ben Affleck in “Batman vs. Superman,” and the nerd-o-sphere is afire with speculation over what role the hunk could take. Comic blogs and Hollywood trades speculate he could play Doomsday, a villain from the Superman series. Or, possibly, Lobo, an “intergalactic bounty hunter”; Bizarro, Superman’s evil clone; or Orion from the New Gods. Another guess: Aquaman. Details of the film are being kept under wraps.

Not exactly sure what the point of Aquaman ("Hey, I can hold my breath and talk to dolphins! You guys need any help? No? You sure? You good? Ok, text me and lemme know")  has ever been, and I don't know who Doomsday or Lobo are, sooo…congratulations? Hopefully whoever he plays doesn't die over vagina again. Because that's pretty dumb.

This Might Be Wonder Woman In ‘Batman Vs. Superman’

There's been a lot of rumors that Wonder Woman will make her first appearance in Warner Bro.'s DC universe in Batman vs. Superman as they desperately try to copy Marvel's big screen strategy, but now comes the bad news. Variety reports:

Sources tell Variety that “Fast and Furious” actress Gal Gadot, “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” thesp Elodie Yung and Olga Kurylenko have or will test for the female lead, which appears to be the role of Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman. Sources stress there’s still a possibility this role could be Bruce Wayne’s love interest, but the casting description of “tall, brunette, athletic and exotic” also matches that of the Wonder Woman character in the comics. WB had no comment. Schmoes Know reported earlier in the week that Kurylenko had auditioned, and sources add there is a possibility a fourth actress could be added to the list. Recent reports suggested “Thor” thesp Jaimie Alexander would be up for the part but Alexander’s obligation to future Marvel pics takes her out of the running since it’s a DC comics property. The Wonder Woman rumor has been kicking around for some time, and insiders believe the plan is to have not just Batman and Superman in the film but several members of the Justice League as well. It’s unclear which members, but Wonder Woman (Diana Prince) and the Flash are said to be locks to make an appearance in some fashion, whether that’s a significant role or a cameo.

Olga. The woman who might play the most iconic picture of female badassery in the history of American art is named Olga. I hope the first scene is Bruce Wayne giving her a loan so she can get implants.
