In 2009, Chris Brown was sentenced to 5 years probation for his assault on Rihanna, and yesterday appeared in a Los Angeles court for a probation progress report. During the hearing, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg was informed that Brown recently tested positive for marijuana in Virginia. Let’s see how that turned out! Radar Online reports:
Despite the finding, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg has decided not to immediately find Brown in violation of his probation, but she has scheduled a November 1 hearing to discuss whether she should do so. Brown has been ordered to report to his probation officer within the next 72 hours…Schnegg also ordered that Brown’s probation requirements be finished in California, because of ongoing concerns with discrepancies about how much community labor he has actually completed. The Virginia probation department also said in the probation report that Brown had violated terms of his travel restrictions.
So to recap, Chris Brown attended a probation progress hearing where Judge Patricia Schnegg learned, 1.) Chris Brown smoked weed, 2.) he may have lied about the amount of community service he has performed, and 3.) Brown violated the terms of his travel restrictions. But she let him go and needs until November 1 to figure what do. Hmmm, what to do, what to do, *spins around in chair* what…to…do…if there was only something she could do to someone who violated their probation. Give me a minute, it’s coming to me. Let me think…let me think….
