My Facebook feed was choked this weekend with crap like “I”M GONNA SEE GAGA!!!!!!!” and “Oh my gawd my coworkers surprised me with a lady gaga ticket! I bawled!!” and “THIS IS THE GREATEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!!!!”, because Lady Gaga brought her scripted message of loser acceptance to Raleigh this weekend. Man, it’s great that Lady Gaga can empathize with her fans and show them that you don’t have to be rich or popular or pretty for your life to have meaning. She’s lived it. Like in this 2004 picture of her in high school at Convent of the Sacred Heart, a private Roman Catholic school on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. In an Abercrombie & Fitch track jacket. And highlights. And waxed eyebrows. They posed for this picture before they stuffed her in a locker I bet. Because she was such a non-conformist and misunderstood freak, you see.
Note: One of our regular readers who is is funnier than me, just put this comment on the Facebook fanpage. Yes, I laughed. Loud.
I want your boot-legged, distressed washed jeans, I want those shoes as long as they’re buy one get one free…..the mall is love, love love love-the mall is love.
