You’re not gonna believe this, but Lindsay Lohan was fired from her new movie, The Other Side because the producers felt she wasn’t economically viable. Yeah, that’s the reason. US Magazine reports:
Two days after her dad attempted to stage an intervention, a director has confirmed he fired Lohan from what was supposed to be her next flick, The Other Side.”Our team simply chose to move on from Lindsay and we’ll soon be announcing a replacement,” writer/director David Michaels told TMZ.com. Lohan, 23, was set to play a grad student working on a deserted island. Sources told the site that the film’s financial backers were nervous about relying on Lohan and didn’t think she was “bankable.” (Another source insists to UsMagazine.com that the film’s failure to get financing had “nothing to do with Lindsay. It was because it was an unknown director. All the major stars in this film dropped out.”) The movie stars Woody Harrelson, Giovanni Ribisi, Dave Matthews and Alanis Morissette. Brittany Murphy was also attached before her December death.
Well, it’s a good thing that Lindsay has learned from this and is now taking responsibility for her actions, right? Yeah, um no.
One of Lindsay Lohan’s former close friends tells TMZ virtually all of her friends have just thrown in the towel. The ex-pal, who requested anonymity but we know was very close to Lindsay, says, “talking to Lindsay is like talking to a wall — and if you ever say anything negative to her, she cuts you off.” The friend described her as “a lost cause.” As for getting Lindsay help, the friend says several of Lindsay’s buddies have tried reaching out to her mother, Dina — but mama is in denial.
Lindsay hasn’t been on screen since 2007, and unless you count her upcoming bit part in Robert Rodriguez’s Mexican B-movie, Machete, Lindsay can’t fit enough cocks in her mouth to ever be an actual movie star again. And Lindsay can fit more meat in her mouth than Kobayashi. I think it’s safe to say at this point the next time Lindsay is in a movie , Nicholas Cage, with the help of the streetwise Max, will be hired to investigate if it’s authentic or not. Will his obsession destroy him?
